Exactly right, @Todd_Staples. The Permian Basin is critical to America’s energy and economic future, but that future depends on reliable transmission. Texas needs to invest in the infrastructure to meet America’s growing energy needs.
The #PermianBasin is on track to become America’s largest natural gas-producing region by the end of this decade.
Think about what that means for #Texas: more oil, more natural gas, more money for schools and roads—and more electricity demand.
You cannot power #Americanenergydominance that delivers #nationalsecurity without reliable electricity.
That means Texas needs a serious plan for BOTH generation and transmission in the Permian Basin. Transmission comes first and there is a real plan to deliver. Nobody has any other tangible, affordable plan. Texas can deliver reliability, affordability and protect the rights of Texas landowners - that is how we have a strong Texas.
Citi’s forecast is another reminder: Texas energy dominance does not happen automatically. The Permian needs the infrastructure now to power Texas’ future. @TXOGA @PowerWestTexas

Just like President Trump’s EPA did in approving CCS projects, now the Texas Railroad Commission has been delegated that responsibility from President Trump and has exercised it for Texas, so that jobs, investment, community and landowner benefits can all flow and keep Texas strong.

We will always remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the strangers who became heroes by carrying others to safety amid the chaos, and the passengers, flight attendants, and pilots aboard Flights AA 11, UA 175, AA 77, and UA 93, who fought back and comforted one another in their final moments.
Twenty-five years later, we remember the strength and unity Americans embodied on this fateful day. May we never take our freedoms for granted, and may we never forget.
