SpaceX is absolutely crushing it. SpaceX's SI business became its largest revenue segment in Q3, generating $7.56 billion in Q3, up 830% year-over-year and 195% quarter-over-quarter. And yet, they're just getting started. Starship hasn't even started launching regularly yet, and they have a lot more compute capacity coming online in the coming quarters and beyond.

This new trend of billionaires and a trillionaire investing directly into our children's future is one of the most transformative moves I've ever seen made. They've decided to cut out all of the middle men who were ripe with fraud. Now every kid in America will be invested in SpaceX.

I get that you're a hater dealing with cognitive dissonance but just because you say things doesn't make it true. The majority of those billions went to SpaceX as competitive contracts for services rendered. In return the government received the most reliable reusable rocket system ever created in Falcon that has flown over 700 times now, Dragon that has transported astronauts to and from the ISS, resupply missions, future missions, etc... As for Tesla, they only received a DOE loan early in the company's history which they paid back 9 years early with interest. In return they practically created the EV industry as we know it today, producing over ten million EVs and pushing the entire auto sector to start offering EV options. I'd say that loan did what it was supposed to. Beyond that regulatory credits often get mistaken as taxpayer funded but they are not. They are paid for by other auto manufacturers looking to meet emissions requirements that purchase extra credits from Tesla to do so. You're just not very knowledgeable about him or his companies beyond what you've probably heard from the same hater circles haters tend to form their caricature opinions from. But it's mostly nonsense.

Voir son outil de travail partir en fumée, c’est traumatisant. Voir ses économies investies dans un commerce qui met parfois des années à rapporter un maigre salaire, c’est violent. Beaucoup ont en plus été frappés, blessés, humiliés. Les assurances ? Si les petits commerces arrivent à se faire rembourser une partie des pertes, ce sera déjà une victoire. Elles ne couvriront pas tout, si elles couvrent quelque chose, et ce sera un enfer administratif et judiciaire pour beaucoup de victimes, ajoutant au traumatisme. Ce n’est pas « que du matériel ». Ce sont des vies brisées, des violences physiques et psychologiques, qui auront des conséquences. Rien ne justifie cela. Aucun motif politique. Il n’y en a pas, ce sont juste des pillages, tout le monde le sait. Ceux qui essayent de minorer ou de justifier cette violence (qui touche d’ailleurs des gens souvent modestes, dont la vie va être encore plus difficile désormais) s’en rendent complices.
