The game didn’t end the way any of us hoped, but I’ll never forget this week in London. Getting the chance to be surrounded by so many of the Burgundy & Gold faithful—fans who traveled across the pond and fans who call this side of the pond home—has been absolutely incredible. The result hurts, but the memories, the friendships and the love for this team will last a hell of a lot longer than one final score. London, you showed up for the Burgundy & Gold. Thank you for an unforgettable week. #RaiseHail 🇬🇧

I’ve spent the last 10 days eating my way through London and Lisbon, so I seriously considered bringing Fish & Chips and Pastéis de Nata back for Sunday’s tailgate. 😂 But that doesn’t exactly scream NEW YORK CITY. So instead, the HailBBQ Crew is serving up some BIG APPLE HITS for the Giants game. 🍎🔥 Our RSVP is officially SOLD OUT, but if you missed this one, we hope to host you at a future HailBBQ tailgate! Now let’s bring a taste of NYC to NW Stadium and send the Giants home with an L. #HailBBQ #RaiseHail #HTTC #Commanders

WR Stefon Diggs was not on the practice field during the portion open to the media. Not sure why at this point.

This is crazy - for all the Commanders injuries this season they don’t even rank among the Top 20 of the NFL’s most injured teams per @RotoWireNFL

Y’ALL REALLY THOUGHT A LITTLE INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL WAS GONNA KEEP TAILGATE TED FROM THE TAILGATE?! 😂🔥 For everyone texting, DMing and blowing up the replies—YES, I’ll be back in time for this weekend’s tailgate! Will I be jet lagged? Absolutely. Will that stop me from firing up the grills and throwing a party? HAIL NO. Portugal ➡️ DC ➡️ TAILGATE. No excuses. See y’all Sunday. #RaiseHail

🚨 #Commanders fans still in London: If you missed out on the Washington/Indianapolis split scarves, the NFL Shop on Oxford Street still has about half a box left! They’re NOT on display, so you have to ask an employee and they’ll grab one from the back. Go get that London souvenir before they’re gone! 🇬🇧🏈 #RaiseHail

We exchanged crowded London streets for cozy Lisbon… and I’m not mad about it one bit. 🇵🇹 After an incredible few days of football, pubs, and partying with the Burgundy & Gold family, it’s time to slow things down, enjoy some amazing Portuguese food and wine, and recharge before heading back across the pond. London brought the energy. Lisbon is bringing the vibes. 🍷🍽️

The #Commanders did an amazing job turning The Box into our home base in London. The transformation is unreal
The Box looks nothing like it did Friday. @BritCommanders @washingtonukfan @TailgateTed

The NFL is a week-to-week league. I’m not predicting wins for ANY team weeks in advance because we have no idea who will even be on the field for either side. My point is you can’t just chalk up wins and losses weeks ahead of time. Giving up on the season now, especially with our franchise QB expected back, is insane to me. Play the games. Then we’ll talk. #RaiseHail

So you are predicting wins at San Fran, then Philly and the Rams?

The offensive line roster construction makes absolutely no sense to me — and I know I’m not alone. @JPFinlayNBCS and @Mitch_Tischler harped on it during the postgame @BeltwayFootball pod. All offseason we heard the team rave about Nick Allegretti. Four weeks into the season, he’s lost his center job to a guy signed in Week 3 and then gets benched at guard for 6th-round rookie Matt Gulbin. Injuries happen. Guys have to shuffle around. But moves like these are why fans start asking how the plan at offensive line got to this point. When the decisions stop making sense from the outside, it’s hard not to wonder what we’re missing. #RaiseHail
The Commanders know more than we do. They should. But at 1-3 on top of 5-12, “there’s a lot of stuff that we’re doing here that maybe they don’t see” only goes so far. On injuries, roster calls, OL/QB depth, and why the little things matter: (LINK ⤵️)
