My issue is they didn’t have it for decades while everyone else did. Typically when Apple does something everyone else already has they find a way to make it different, unique.
AirPods were truly wireless
Apple Watch had the crown
Duo has Nano Texture
But touch screen is just touch.

I feel like tomorrow the MacBook Pro is going to fundamentally change. I hope after avoiding touch screens on Mac for 2 decades they have a very good / innovative reason for deciding now is the time.
First MacBook Pro launched 20 years ago. Yes it’s older than the iPhone.

Apple has all the ingredients to make an incredible Apple Pencil experience with iMac Studio.
Frankly the iMac would benefit more from a touchscreen than the MacBook Pros.
