IMO: a subset of ppl will find AI tools useful when it feels like they lessen the time tax or begin to shift what's seen as an imbalance of power btwn a bureaucracy/corporation & the individual. they'll engender a lot of hate if they're used where that imbalance doesn't exist
I don't think it's that hard to figure out why most people do not see huge upside in letting a bot conduct personal email correspondence for them without their active oversight. Most people wanna know what's in their emails to and from their kid's teacher or whatever.
