I just received this letter from Stafford County about the Freedmen Potomac Cemetery; they gave a data center authorizations to develop near it, disturbing our ancestors’ graves. I hate raising money on a daily as much as you all hate seeing it on my timeline. At the end of the day, this work we are doing is a business to support our advocacy work for our people. Thanks to everyone who has setup weekly and monthly donations. Over the past 7 days, we tried reaching 100 donors to do the same, but no one engaged during this campaign. I have almost 17,000 followers. 1% is 170 possible donors at $25 each that we were requesting. This would be $4,250 a month. This would be a sweet spot for operations and expenses for AFLF.
