There hasn’t been nearly enough attention on this, and I’m gonna help correct that. Imagine if I told you that former Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, who is now an appointed U.S. Senator, and Florida’s current appointed Attorney General, James Uthmeier, have both been tied to allegations involving the diversion of $10 million in taxpayer money from a Medicaid settlement. Imagine if I told you that money was allegedly routed through the governor’s office and used to advance an ideological agenda, including efforts to influence the outcome of the 2024 constitutional amendment campaigns, instead of being used for the public purpose it was intended for. That’s your money. If you’re a Florida voter, you need to understand exactly what these allegations are and why they matter. You have the opportunity this November to remove these appointed Republicans from positions of power. The $10 million is what we know about.
