I walked a path of failure, and yet I never gave up. My mind ran out of thoughts, and yet I wrote. I stand here now, not as a person with a name. But a role.

Garden of Knowledge
I'm just here to ramble.

I tried. I tried to live for your dream. But my hands couldn't reach where you could. My ambitions could never be as big as yours. So I fell, plummeting through my own failures. Until I saw a glimpse of the real you. Your truest self. Sinking into the mud, a corpse with no hope.
1
Corpses lie all around me, and I'm afraid of joining them. I cannot step past them. If I go further, I'll find myself falling off the brink of sanity. My head is twisting. Breaking. Snapping. I can't keep it together. As my mind shatters. As my mind is devoured. By fear.
Finished both Cyberpunk seasons today. That was truly a trip. I'm probably the only person who came out of season one hating David.

I lay here, dying in a pool of my own altruism. I tried to save mankind, only to be killed for my troubles. How I loathe humanity. How I loathe the wicked. How I loathe the selfish, evil monsters that slaughtered me!

I hold my bleeding heart in my hands, run through by hate. How foolish I was. Did I think that such wicked people would be kind, just because they were shown kindness? Sins are still sins, even if the sinner refuses to acknowledge them.
17
I bear the weight of the sinners that I execute. May the Lord have mercy on them. I hold the hands of the dying as they repent. May the Lord accept their wishes. I look into the eyes of those who seek to kill me. May the Lord forgive me. For taking this sinner's life.

A tsunami of smoke pours over the battlefield. War has come for our lives. For our corpses and our souls. For our sacrifices. We must raise our guns and fight for our country. Against the invaders that threaten our home. Against those who live on the other side of the wall.

I feel my mind spiraling into madness. Round. and. Round. Round. and. and. Round. and. My thoughts are in disarray. Clouds converge in my head. And there's no escape. From these memories.

Should tits be small enough to cup in one's hand, completely flat, or big enough to hold them one's hands? I can't decide when making female characters.

*in one's hands. My bad.

I stand in this city of blades, with no direction. I take sword after sword to fight that demon, to no avail. Failure pushes me onward, yet in the mirror of the future is a coffin that I am not ready to enter. So I cut down that mirror and turn my back on tomorrow. Leave me be.

I glanced up at the ruddy clouds at sunset. From down here, they looked like bloodied blades sharpened on the silver moon. If I were to use that marbled sky, that silver moon, and those ruddied clouds, could I create a weapon to split the sun in half? To sever the world in two?

I have come bringing an instrument of death for the wicked. A tool of redemption for the unrepentant. A dream for the sleepless. No need for a coffin, since you won't be resting long. I'll open the gates to the void in your mind. And kill you at your most vulnerable.

Passing dead planets in the void of outerspace. Surging through the all-devouring darkness, that consumed even black holes. It hurtled through the emptiness, hoping for refuge. Until it saw a planet millions of miles away. A blinking, living planet. So, the star fell upon Hixora.

Heaven-sent comet that streaks the skies. Wretched celestial that tears apart the veil. I am in no place to give you shelter from the darkness. For I fear what it may do to me. You must leave. Use your strength as a seal, selfish creature. Or your blood will stain my surface.

I waded through the waves of suffering and found myself on the banks of strength. So I steeled myself. I pushed through the forests of sadness and found myself at the cliff of joy. So I jumped. I trudged through the sands of pity and found myself at the oasis of hope. So I drank.

Like an angel with its wings cut off, I fell to the world to escape. I planted myself in the earth and grew, absorbing knowledge. But the world rejected me. I was a wretched foreigner, seeking shelter from something it could not understand. And so, the Beast came for my head.

My sword may chip, and my hands may weaken. But I will never put down my blade. I raised it to protect you from all that would harm you. Even as my body crumbles. Even as my mind dulls. Even as my heart slows. Even as I fall. I will wield my sword for you.
