It's crazy to think that raising $40M for clean water was the easy part.
This is just the first phase of a 5-year project and you're already having a meaningful impact. We’ve done a lot of the groundwork – working with local governments, securing permits and building basic infrastructure – to get clean water flowing. Here's a look at some of the work we’ve been doing over the past year 🧵

Through #TeamWater, @DigDeepH2O has connected dozens of families in rural Appalachia to a safe, reliable water infrastructure as part of their ongoing national effort to close the U.S. water gap. These families, who have been hauling water from nearby streams and building their own solutions, will now have dependable water access for the first time in decades.

Giving 2 million people clean water access for decades takes planning, building infrastructure, and working with local governments and communities to make sure the change is real and sustainable.
