Thank you, @troyesivan, for being part of #MadeOnYouTube this year! Troye got his start right here on @YouTube, sharing bedroom covers and candid vlogs while building a community of fans all over the world. Today, he’s selling out arenas and bringing that same authentic approach to his music and visual storytelling. Can’t wait for his new album next month!

This is what it looks like to innovate in the @YouTube Era, where entertainment is built from the ground up by creators and the communities that fuel them. At our fifth annual #MadeOnYouTube, we announced 30+ new products and features to power the next wave of creativity and give you more control over how you watch. We’re introducing custom feeds you can tailor to your interests, moods and routines, new conversational tools to explore what you love, plus new ways to follow the stories you love and connect with creators. To bring fans closer to their favorite @YouTubeCreators, new features like interactive showdowns, co-streaming and live reactions are making streams even more fun. And we've renewed our partnership with @Coachella to remain the exclusive livestream home of music’s biggest festival. For creators, we’re investing across every stage of the creative journey. That includes AI-powered tools in YouTube Studio to handle the heavy lifting of production, new ways to test what resonates with their audience and expanded storytelling formats. We continue to build the most diversified revenue engine on the planet. That means backing creators with the largest ad revenue payouts in the industry, a share of our booming subscription business and a growing suite of fan funding products. And we're increasingly focused on a new engine of growth: fueling the brand-creator ecosystem. I’m grateful to all the creators who spent the day with us. And most importantly, a huge thank you to all our YouTube teams who work so hard every day to build these innovative products.

5/ 🛒 We’re also expanding earning opportunities through YouTube Shopping. @Amazon has joined our Shopping affiliate program in the US, India and Brazil with more countries coming this fall. 💳 Plus, new cross-border transactions automatically localize product tags so creators earn commissions no matter where their fans are buying.

To wrap up the design principles series I've been sharing, our final principle is to build for the ecosystem. @YouTube lives on phones, tablets, computers and living room TVs. The experience should remain consistent across all your devices so that buttons and navigation always feel intuitive. I’m proud of the progress our teams have made and just as encouraged by how committed we are to continue making the experience simpler. No matter where or how you watch, YouTube should feel like YouTube.
At @YouTube, we’re focused on making the platform more intuitive while keeping creators, artists and their content center stage. Five core design principles guide how we get there: ⭐ Make content the star 🎯 Prioritize relevance ruthlessly ✨ Choose the simpler option 🤝 Be a good neighbor 🌐 Build for the ecosystem Over the next few weeks, I'll share how we’re putting each of these principles into practice - stay tuned! Thanks @FastCompany for the look behind the scenes. fastcompany.com/91580299/you…

The Senate Creators Caucus creates an important forum for dialogue, with bipartisan leadership from @SenBooker and @SenJohnKennedy. Creators' voices belong in the conversation shaping the future of their work.
Yesterday @SenBooker and @SenJohnKennedy launched the Senate Creators Caucus! 🏛️✨ @YouTubeCreators joined a panel moderated by @dylanewells to talk about what it actually takes to run a creator-led business and how policymakers can support and protect creators. Digital entrepreneurs are creating jobs and investing in their local communities, and we applaud the expanding bipartisan leadership recognizing the creator economy in Washington.

There’s more to watch, follow and discover than ever which makes the moments that resonate in culture especially interesting. In our latest @YouTube Culture & Trends report, we found that digital creators and communities are playing a bigger role in what gets shared and talked about, ultimately defining the mainstream. Good breakdown by @mashable on what the data shows.
