After seeing the pricing of the recently launched Dimensity 9600M and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 devices, my respect for the REDMI K100 Series has increased a lot. Of course, It doesn’t have Leica Optics and the camera hardware isn’t as good as some other imaging-focused machines but it’s still more than enough for a regular user. Apart from the camera, almost everything else is really strong, making the K100 Series an even more compelling VFM option. I’m not sure how long Xiaomi will maintain the current pricing but I think this is the best time to get it if your budget is around 4000¥
