The engagement focused on scaling Africa’s digital economy, strengthening public-private partnerships, and unlocking opportunities for sustainable economic growth across the continent. The Roundtable brought together leaders from the business, finance, and government sectors to discuss practical ways of advancing Africa’s digital transformation and investment potential. The Ambassador reaffirmed the importance of collaboration in creating jobs, promoting innovation, and strengthening Africa’s position as a leading digital and business hub.

Soon: NectarFi x NGX. Everyone is excited about tokenisation, and rightfully so. If major markets like the NYSE are already exploring how U.S. equities can move onchain, the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) shouldn’t be far behind. I recently spoke with TechNext about what it could take to bring NGX-listed assets onchain, the infrastructure required, and the opportunity this could unlock for market access. If anyone on the NGX side is actively thinking about or working on this, I’m open to a conversation.

It was also a pleasure meeting with the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during his session. Amazing and well done Dr, can't help but just imagine how much and how far flutterwave has come, asides the other big names there, there's this realization of how a company founded in the last 10 or so years has grown exponentially to command such influence and deliver value.
