GOD PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THE QUALITY, I'LL TAKE CARE OF THE QUANTITY.
Part 1 — Just Keep Showing Up.
Before I get into this, please like and repost so it reaches more people. 🙏
Back to the topic......
I've been thinking about this phrase a lot lately.....
“God please take care of the quality. I'll take care of the quantity.”
And honestly, I think a lot of us need this mindset.
We put so much pressure on ourselves to get things right.
We want the perfect opportunity.
The perfect business.
The perfect relationship.
The perfect career.
The perfect body.
The perfect trading strategy.
The perfect life.
And because we can't guarantee that things will turn out perfectly, we sometimes don't even start.
But what if perfection was never our responsibility?
What if our responsibility is simply to show up, do our part and keep going?
Think about a farmer.
A farmer can plant the seed.
He can water it.
He can protect it.
He can remove the weeds.
But he can't force the seed to grow.
At some point, he has to trust the process.
That's how I see life.
I'll plant. God, handle the growth.
I'll study.
I'll practice.
I'll apply.
I'll create.
I'll pray.
I'll save.
I'll try again.
I'll keep showing up.
But I can't control exactly when the results will come.
And that's where I think we get frustrated.
We want the harvest but we don't want the planting season.
We want to be good at something without being bad at it first.
We want thousands of followers without making hundreds of posts.
We want a profitable trading career without taking the losses that teach us discipline.
We want financial freedom without learning how to manage the little money we have now.
We want a successful business without going through the stage where nobody knows our name.
But growth doesn't work like that.
You need repetition before mastery.
You need attempts before experience.
You need experience before wisdom.
And sometimes you need failure before you discover what actually works for you.
So instead of asking yourself every day,
“Why am I not there yet?”
Maybe ask:
“Am I still showing up?”
Because if you are, you're not standing still.
You are learning.
You're building.
You're becoming.
And maybe what looks like “nothing is happening” is actually preparation for something you aren't ready to see yet.
This doesn't mean we should be lazy and say, “God will handle everything.”
No.
Faith doesn't cancel effort.
I'll do the work.
I'll improve my skills.
I'll make the attempts.
I'll learn from my mistakes.
I'll keep putting myself in rooms where opportunities can find me.
I'll keep becoming better.
Then I'll leave the outcome to God.
Because I can control my effort.
I can control my consistency.
I can control how many times I try.
But I can't control which attempt finally changes everything.
And maybe that's the whole point.
My job is to keep planting.
God's job is to decide which seed becomes the harvest.
So for today, I'm not going to obsess over whether everything I'm doing is producing immediate results.
I'm just going to do my part.
One day at a time.
One attempt at a time.
One prayer at a time.
One opportunity at a time.
God, please take care of the quality.
I'll take care of the quantity.
And we'll see where it takes me.
