Uttarakhand has built a strong identity as a tourism capital. The next ambition is to turn that strength into broader economic growth.

India’s institutions are failing its people. Students demanding accountability for the #NEET paper leak were met with lathi charge. In Kota, mothers who went in for childbirth came out with kidney failure. Education & healthcare are both crumbling. #NEETLeak#KotaMaternalDeaths
Booked a courier via @Uber_Support to deliver a parcel. Driver confirmed pickup but it was never delivered. Recipient confirms nothing arrived. Delivery partner denies it, in-app support is useless. Need this traced/refunded ASAP. @Uber_India@Uber
Women who suffered kidney damage allegedly after undergoing C-sec at Kota’s New Medical College have submitted a memorandum to the President, demanding treatment & compensation or permission to end their lives thru euthanasia. @rashtrapatibhvn share.google/tYQoWVAUT8neCuA…

Common man should be happy to know that the government is ensuring that quality medicines reach hospitals and consumers. It was observed that some drugmakers suppressed information about the cancellation of their manufacturing licences to secure supply orders from the government and other Healthcare agencies.
Timely disclosure of license cancellations and suspension is critical to prevent misuse and to strengthen the monitoring mechanism between the centre and states.
Now all states shall furnish monthly NSQ data in the prescribed format within the stipulated timeline and share the data with the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation ( @CDSCO_INDIA_INF ).

And a law-Section 27A-that promises life imprisonment, yet has delivered nothing to the families left behind.

Death in a Vial by Teena Thacker @Teensthack
An oxytocin vial that allegedly contained little more than water has laid bare many uncomfortable truths
Spurious drugmakers continue to flourish, regulatory enforcement remains painfully weak, and as organised pharma companies quietly exit unviable markets, shady players willing to cut corners move in.
