Telesat has qualified for Streams 2 and 5 under the Defence Drone Initiative (DDI), making us eligible to compete for future contracts related to C2 Communications, Data, Electronic Warfare, and Cyber Systems, as well as Innovation and Experimentation. The DDI’s scope is intentionally broad, tapping into the entire Canadian defence ecosystem to help Canada move at the speed of relevance, and we’re hoping to contribute to that effort.
