I doubt the ‘new Scots’ you plan on making permanent residents in Scotland will have any intention of learning Gaelic.
These separatists are so retarded.
Scotland.
What gives us a place in the "Celtic Alliance" *at all* is the fact of the survival of our remaining Celtic language, Scottish Gaelic, within our borders.
That's it.
Celtic identity depends on living language, not merely on history, and certainly not on DNA.
If you imagine you can maintain Scotland's Celtic identity while ignoring our surviving Celtic language, then you are gravely mistaken.
A future as an independent Celtic nation allied with it's Celtic neighbours depends on us and our children embracing the original "Lingua Scotica", the Gaelic language of the people who gave us their name of Scots, set our borders and created our country - before it is lost forever.
