There hasn't been a high school sports story posted on the @heraldleader website since Sept. 10. Not one score posted from Friday night football action. This is not schadenfreude from me. This is disgust. What a disservice to the community.
Kentucky schools rejected proposals to loosen transfer rules and instead tightened them. KHSAA member schools declined a one-free transfer and limiting transfer rules to only team sports, while approving transfer limits for middle schoolers.

Connor Morguson has transferred to George Rogers Clark from Powell County, where he averaged 20.9 ppg as a sophomore. Morguson has bounced between the two schools, playing at Powell in 23-24, Clark in 24-25, Powell in 25-26, and now Clark in 26-27.

This new KHSAA scoreboard is such a downgrade. It’s tough to navigate and to find stats/scores it’s definitely not user friendly

Benjamin Brown is now enrolled at Covington Catholic. Brown played at Scott before transferring to Summit Country Day early this summer. He played in 17 games for Scott, averaging 22.8 ppg.
