FSA is adding 30 million new base acres nationwide to strengthen the farm safety net. Now that the base allocation process is complete, FSA is announcing enrollment in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2026 and 2027 crop years.

Beginning Sept. 16, 2026, producers can enroll in ARC and PLC for program year 2026.  fsa.usda.gov/news-events/new…

Talk about one heck of a ride It was quite the privilege to celebrate our leader and friend, David Gibson, at his retirement party last week. We’re so thankful for his 27 years of servant leadership and the incredible impact he has made on behalf of Texas corn farmers. As he gets ready for retirement, we’re cherishing the friendships and moments we’ve shared along the way. Here’s to David and his next chapter! Wishing you a wonderful retirement, David, you’ve certainly earned it.

Our farmer leaders rolled up their sleeves and got to work during our joint board meeting to set priorities and budgets for the year ahead. Here’s a quick look at what was on the table: 🌽 Producer issues: High Plains weather, stolen grain and other challenges impacting Texas corn farmers. 🏛️ Association priorities: Looking ahead to the next legislative session, including key issues like water rights and water use. Board leaders also met with Ag Commissioner candidate Nate Sheets and Speaker Dustin Burrows. 🎓 Investing in the future: The TTU Davis College Ag Dean joined the board to discuss ongoing support of the MILE and Congressional Internship programs.
