My dad lost a large portion of his leg last July. He was devastated and slipped into depression. Thought he would never go to another sporting event again. Less then a year later, I'm proud to walk into the ballpark with my dad, just a month after he got his prosthetic leg.

Regulators. We regulate any stealing of his property. We're damn good too. But you can't be any geek off the street. You gotta be handy with the steel, if you know what I mean. Earn your keep. Regulators, mount up!

I had The Barn in mind until I got hit with an aggressively Murphy's Law level trip through Central Illinois tonight. Instead, I once again made the mistake of trusting Naperville to not be a massive disappointment (.086 career average) and never even touched Liquid Chicago. Well, at 12:52 AM, I'm at a dive bar south of Joliet, drinking $2 Busch Lights and being gifted Jagerbombs like I invented the wheel. You could say we clutched up and saved what was turning into a brutal eve of Game 3 and didn't let it kill the vibes. However, I can confirm that this experience will almost certainly cause me to wake up prepared to absolutely pound the gas and refuse to acknowledge brakes once I (finally) enter Chicago on my way to Bridgeport. Buckle up folks. If the Sox are alive, we ride, and they haven't found a way to kill us yet.
Staying in Joliet tonight, but stopping for a beer in the best city in the world sounds like the lock of the century. Building a bit of tolerance before walking into the madness of Bridgeport tomorrow just feels like the move. Back to that same old place, see you soon. 馃

I am approaching malnourishment waiting for August Sean Newcomb to return. Give us three scoreless and I'll make sure you never pay for another drink in Chicago again.

Not only would I love this, I stand on my take that he never should've been traded in the first place. Bears Twitter sent me to the shadow realm for being pissed about it at the time, funny to me now to see the switch up.
Khalil Mack reuniting with the Bears makes sense on every level. Chargers are 0-4. Look to be sellers. Bears are 3-1 with an overachieving defense that could add more rushers. It鈥檒l likely cost a 5th round pick making this a low risk but very high reward. Bring home Mack? Yes

Does living in Cleveland for long periods of time cause limp wrists? Everytime they pan to the fans twirling the playoff towels, I get secondhand embarrassment.
