Happy to see people get feedback and learn and change their views after seeing valid constructive criticism. That’s rare these days.
Okay that was actually a really enjoyable experience. Only $50 for a custom-made thumbnail. This is my first time working with an artist.
Working on the article changes today. Dont wanna give myself a strict timeline to avoid making rushed decisions.
I didn’t realize how far my voice reached.
Going forward:
- All AI-produced “art”will be removed and replaced. Currently I have 2 human-made art assets I can build around.
- Claude-voice is bing reworked. I think it’s best to just go through it once and rewrite some sections in my own words. This article was designed by me and needs my attention in the overall flow. I went in with the assumption that *writing is solved by AI so there’s no point in refining that skill*. This is wrong, I can still communicate my voice with words and I should not lose my voice to an AI.
- I am still trying to figure out exactly where my stance lies on AI-usage specifically relating to art going forward. Accessibility and scalability were the biggest use-case before. I’ve had a lot of artists reach out and discuss in DMs how it affects their industry. As a creative myself, I am starting to understand that half of the coin. I am not one to change my views off of social pressure. I will always speak my shit even if I am wrong. That’s what you get with bsmiffy. But when I am wrong, I need to learn why and how I was wrong. From there, I can do better going forward. Sending hate does nothing to change the opinion and only bitters the heart. The people who got through to me were those who reached out in DMs seeking real conversation. I will need more time to really solidify my values exactly on this issue and will make a future statement.
