Still one of the sickest kills in a horror movie. Spason kicks ass.

2026 might have been the best year for horror games ever. It started off strong and continued with banger after banger.

Possibly could be a new game. I see that being a likely possibility, I don't know where people are getting rights issues from this though. We have The Game Awards in a few weeks and that's where TCM was announded and since we still do not know what Gun Media's new game is after TCM. I feel like there might be a chance it's Chucky related and we might see it sooner than later.

I have always said The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014) should have been a franchise. I still for the life of me can't understand why Blumhouse released it direct to VOD.
Which standalone horror movie would you like to see get the franchise treatment? I'm going with The Faculty (1998). There's so much scope for a whole series of movies. Apparently there's a remake in the works with Robert Rodriguez producing and a script by Drew Hancock.

Obsession is the best horror movie released in 2026. Backrooms was close if the ending didn't fall flat for me. But Obsession was just a great movie.

I know @HalloweenTVG only covers the first movie. But since we are getting 2018 content, can we some day see Allyson make an appearance as a civilian??

CRYSTAL LAKE Episode 7 feels like what Ryan Murphy would do if he was told to make a Friday the 13th prequel. I don't mean that as a compliment. The modern need to explain things that were best left unexplained can lead to baffling decisions. Jason's new backstory is one of 'em!

An Alan Wake tv series would be so peak especially if they got the actor from the games.

But they are. We can agree that Julia and Frank were despicable people as well as antagonist. But the Cenobites were very much the villains of these movies. With this new "trauma" logic that everyone throws around. Maybe Julia wasn't the villain and she was just pushed into killing those innocent people out of love and trauma put on by Frank. Maybe she wasn't emotionally okay after seeing the skeleton remains of her once lovers body begging for help. Either way, this revisionist history of horror villains is kind of lame.
Hey, look, Pinhead is not the villain of Hellraiser. You need to stop saying he is. Frank and Julia are the villains of Hellraiser.

This era where everyone is trying to make every horror icon a victim needs to stop. Sometimes people are just crazy and evil.

When you watch The Funhouse (1981) you kind of feel bad for Gunther. He spends his life working for his abusive father and its his night off, he's about to relax, get a Bj from the gypsy lady who was into it for some money -- until he took off his mask. I get there was a misunderstanding but strangling/electrocuting her might not have been the best response to Blue Balls. Shortly after that though his night would get even worse as 4 hoodlums would B&E into his place of business and make off with his cash? Not only is he NOT having the BJ he was looking forward to but now he has to chase down these thieves, burry a body and then has work in the morning. If he wasn't a mutant serial killer you'd kind of feel bad for him. #HorrorMovies #HorrorCommunity

Even though Halloween II (09) isn't everyone's favorite. Still sad to see another actor in the Halloween franchise go. Rest easy Buddy.
Richard Riehle, the character actor best known for playing Tom Smykowski in “Office Space,” died of natural causes on Oct. 15. He was 78. Riehle appeared in more than 400 film and TV projects, including “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “The Fugitive,” “Grounded for Life,” “Of Mice and Men,” “Wedding Crashers” and “Bridesmaids.” He also portrayed Santa Claus in eight different projects throughout his career. wp.me/pc8uak-1lHYxH

Since the Crystal Lake series has changed Jason as a character and what he can withstand. I feel like there are certain storylines they can't do anymore which means the series is about to go in wildly different direction; - Chris Higgins killing Jason in the barn in the barn with the axe. - Tommy Jarvis killing Jason with the machete. - Tommy Jarvis in general doesn't work if Jason can't be killed by him. - Jason accidentally being resurrected by Tommy Jarvis. - Zombie Jason - Jason being chained to the bottom of the lake. Unless done by another character for another reason because Tommy Jarvis wouldn't work in this universe. It's gonna be interesting to see what they do with the story moving forward.
