Somehow I didn’t notice until Braden pointed it out here that Fotheringham is the top Utah prospect in the class of 2027 over at 247Sports. That means this is also the first time in the recruiting site era (since roughly 2011) that Utah State has landed the top in-state recruit
Utah State just landed the biggest recruit in their history. The top talent in the state of Utah. A kid with strong ties to the University of Utah, and the Aggies got him to come north instead.
You're seeing the growth of this program and the fruits of their labors the last eight seasons.

More detail on today’s Waco five-for-five ruling:
Wheeler v. NCAA now includes 31 plaintiffs, among them Darrion Williams, Micah Handlogten, Dallin Hall, Nate Calmese, Treysen Eaglestaff and Ven Allen Lubin.
Judge Ryan Luna entered an amended temporary injunction after finding a probable right to recovery and probable, imminent and irreparable harm.
The order temporarily blocks the NCAA from denying these plaintiffs 2026-27 eligibility based on four-season exhaustion, certain non-NCAA/JUCO enrollment or competition, or qualifying professional activity after the 2025-26 season.
It also protects the athletes and affected schools/coaches from Rule of Restitution, Ghost Transfer and similar penalties for complying with the court’s orders.
This is interim relief, not a final ruling on the merits.
