I dunno how much he’ll be missed. I do know they didn’t get a player back. Any player, at any position. A lot of people think a 2028 second-round pick is a great return. We’ll see. Someday.
I mean, A.J. is one thing. Not sure Cam Jurgens will be missed based on how he has played, right?

Trading AJ Brown for future picks. Trading Cam Jurgens for future picks. Howie Roseman really seems to be telling the 2026 Eagles to go bleep themselves. Wonder how the players and coaches feel about that focus?

I genuinely don’t understand how Eagles GM Howie Roseman convinced the Ravens to trade two draft assets for a player that was about to be benched. Yet here we are! Is Howie SZN officially back? 👀
We have agreed to trade C Cam Jurgens and a 2027 7th-round pick to Baltimore in exchange for a 2027 5th-round pick and a 2028 2nd-round pick.

Yup. This.
Just gonna put this out there. The #Eagles now have two 1st round picks and two 2nd round picks in 2028. They can use those to rebuild this roster like Howie did with the Wentz trade in 2021, and the Saints/Dolphins moves. But he now has the capital to potentially replace Jalen Hurts as well if he continues to regress. Looking at the current contract for Jalen, 2028 looks like the first year they can get out of the deal without taking on an overwhelming amount of dead money. The timing isn't a coincidence. Really feels like we are getting at do or die time for QB1.

Don't think Eagles are punting on anything. This is a great return for a player who was struggling and already replaced at center. Willie Lampkin SZN?!
Trade: Eagles are sending two-time Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 7th-round pick to the Ravens in exchange for a 2027 5th-round pick and a 2028 2nd-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

The Eagles might be loading up to make a run at a QB in 2028 if things don't pan out with this current regime...

Would love to know what those two are bringing to the table
The Eagles supposedly brought in alot of experienced NFL coaches like Jerrod Johnson and Josh Grizzard to help Sean Mannion Maybe they should have just hired an experienced OC instead??? (Not that the loss is entirely Mannions fault)

The season is still early but I'm starting to wonder if the #Eagles got all they could out of this era with the current way the organization is structured

Really would love to hear the explanation from Eagles coaching for why they punted 4th and 1 down 13 from the 49 yard line on Monday, but went for 4th and 1.5 *up 10* with 16 minutes left in the game from their own 38 yard line. Do not believe Eagles have anyone in the booth with an actual quantitative background. The long 1 distance, score margin, field position, weather conditions, and OL health issues would all push this towards punting. Tush push with 1.5 yards has also not been good around league. These decisions patterns show a limited grasp for the underlying models.

How many more games do these Eagles win this season? 5? 6?

Had a lot of Eagles fans upset with me in preseason when I took the view that the loss of Stoutland was massive and scapegoating him and trying to demote him was a mistake. Brilliant coach, HOF resume, amazing leader. Honestly should be a Head Coach, remember Andy Reid was a career OL coach before he got his chance too.
"I do think now that we can say all of the protesting from within the Eagles building that the loss of Jeff Stoutland was not going to be that big of a deal and was being overrated from people on the outside... I don't think that was right. "

Do you think this Eagles team can turn it around or do you think they are about to implode like the 4 win Doug Pedersen 2020 Eagles team???

This could be it for the Sirianni era
Based on success rate, this is the worst an Eagles offense has performed through the first four weeks of a season this century. They have gone 3-and-out on over 45% of their offensive possessions, which ranks 31st (only the Packers are worse).

I may have spent this weekend giving an in person sales pitch to a Super Bowl contender to take this seriously
"Is it worth it to sign like a 7 foot player and the only thing he does is a goal line fade?" Jason and @RyanPaganetti sat down to discuss how NFL teams use analytics, the numbers behind the QB sneak, and whether Tacko Fall would be worth an NFL roster spot. (spoiler alert: he's worth it)
