You don’t get baptized to get saved. You get baptized because you’ve been saved. The water isn’t the Savior. Jesus is.

When I say God, I mean Jesus. Not the universe. Not energy. Not luck. Not positive vibes. Not manifestation. I mean Jesus Christ, the Son of God, crucified for our sins, buried, risen on the third day, and reigning forever.

A car carrying a father and his two sons crashed into a canal and flipped over. The car began filling with water, and the 4-year-old was still strapped into his seat. The New Testament strongly indicates that believers who die are immediately with the Lord, rather than remaining in an unconscious state until the resurrection. Paul says: “To be absent from the body… [is] to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8 He also says: “My desire is to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.” Philippians 1:23 And when Jesus spoke to the repentant thief on the cross, He said: “Today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43 So the biblical picture is: Believer dies → immediately with Christ → resurrection at Christ’s return → receives a glorified body → eternal life with God. One important distinction: being with Christ immediately after death is not yet the final resurrection state. The believer’s body still awaits resurrection and glorification (1 Corinthians 15:51–54; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).

False religion corrupts the simplicity of the Gospel by adding works, rites, and rituals. The Bible makes it unequivocally clear that we are saved by faith alone in Christ.

I was reading Numbers and, for some reason, I decided to go down a rabbit hole about a seemingly innocuous detail. What I discovered blew my mind. This was a great reminder for me: not a single word is wasted in the literal word of God.

Since salvation is NOT OF WORKS, that means: Works can never get you saved. Works can never “keep you saved.” Works can never “prove you are saved.” Works have nothing to do with salvation whatsoever. Since works do not contribute to salvation, they can never be made a condition of salvation before, during, or after belief. Works are separate from salvation. Keep them separate. Romans 11:6 KJV "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work."
