Polluting America's past by relentlessly programming poisonous representations of it is an insidious attempt by traitors, squatters and thieves to steal our future and deny the descendants of the Americans who built the nation their rightful place and inheritance. This will not be forgiven or forgotten. There will be consequences, come what may. Accounts will be settled, judgements will be collected and justice will be served.
(Photos from the World Trade Center taken during the summer of 1985, when I drove across America to revel in its 20th century glory. It was an epic roadtrip that stretched from LA to Boston, from the Great Plains to the heart of Dixie, and the grit and glitter of Manhattan's towering canyons and the bustle that flowed through its streets was truly mesmerizing for a young me. In the years that followed, I would return to the World Trade Center and its iconic towers, never imagining that they could fall, until they did. For me, a quarter-century ago today stands as the flashpoint when the mighty towers of The West were suddenly laid low and the enemy was revealed to be not just at the gate, but already walking among us. Today, on September 11, 2026, the Towers are gone, as is New York City, along with so much of the nation that built and illuminated its magnificence.)
