My local independent cinema has nearly sold out of The Satan Pit screenings. So much so they’ve decided to show it twice taking two separate screens.
And this is a cinema that didn’t take the Ncuti season finales.
Really good news.

CBeebies and CBBC are so important. They are the only British media outlet specifically making and commissioning content for kids. Without it all we are left with are imports or content made for foreign broadcasters.

Another thing I would do is axe the CBBC channel and put kids TV back on BBC One so it’s front and centre of what the BBC offers. iPlayer can pick up the slack when the kids stuff is off. CBeebies should remain however.

Just found out that my local theatre (yes theatre, not cinema) that occasionally shows films is taking The Satan Pit. It’s worth having a hunt around to see if there’s a more obscure venue near you.

I wouldn't blame the BBC for getting rid of BBC Three. It's mostly repeats nowadays, and I am sure room could be made on BBC One, Two or Four for any newly made programmes to transfer.

I just really hope my local cinemas take The Satan Pit. They never took the recent season finales. The nearest was over an hours drive away and as someone who doesn’t drive, it was inaccessible.
