Koivon could have been a money making Tour player as recent as 2 years ago. But the lessons learned from the bad career management of the likes of Wie and Tyron are heeded more and more. Koivon learned to close/win regularly before he went to the next level. The range on TOUR is loaded with aesthetics and potential. But only some of them know how to manage their game down the stretch to win. Practice winning at your level before leveling up. It’s why I love that Miles Russell is going to FSU. He could easily make a bunch of cuts and a nice living (Blades Brown), but he needs to win regularly to have the career he expects.
