Dolphins D vs 49ers film… - Brock Purdy was excellent - every throw, every scramble, every decision, he was lights out yesterday - Dolphins run defense looked much improved from last week (outside of a couple plays). - More growing pains, more mistakes - Miscommunication and blown assignments looked to be the biggest issue yesterday, outside of playing against a great team - Again this will be a long season for the Fins, but we have to be able to identify who will key pieces moving forward - who’s going to show up on the film week after week, making plays - I didn’t really see much of that this week! - 2 touchdowns with communication and assignment issues! We get this cleaned up, these games will look and feel different

If you can't understand this, lemme help. Jordyn Brooks could have easily been traded this off-season and gotten paid elsewhere. Who was going to pay him the most b and did that make a difference? Who knows, but I don't think he's still a Dolphin if Sully doesn't believe he understands the big picture and isn't willing to be a good soldier to the team but also a captain and leader for the youth. He's telling you right here... there's no way around it if you wanna build a consistent winner the right way. All of a sudden we have people saying we could have kept Chubb, Minkah, Waddle, and even Tua and James Daniels. Tell me you're angry and irrational without telling me you're angry and irrational. The Dolphins are setting records for dead cap and rookie playing time in the same year, yet some still can't understand why they can't just be good immediately. Can you just be honest with yourself and admit you love football and the Dolphins but maybe ya just don't understand the team building and business side of things enough. No one knows if this will work out and it's up to you if you want to believe in it or not, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that the time to judge the GM, HC, QB, and young players is NOT after 2 games. What's fair is hoping to see improvements at each of the season's checkpoints, but ultimately knowing a truly fair evaluation and opinion can't be formed until we see them in 2027. And even that would be premature for a finalized assessment. There is a plan in place but it's going to take some time before we start to see it bear any fruit. So, I'll repeat it; if you don't like it, don't watch.
