The funniest thing that these people forget to understand is that during the last Civil War the US Army broke into two sides. It’s even more funny that they think the Anti gun dem side will have the a10s. When 60% of the USA military is pro gun republicans.

Like the AR-15 is going to do anything against a A10 Warthog.

You are comparing a war where soldiers literally walked off with muzzle-loading rifles to modern 5th-generation warfare. You can steal a horse; you cannot steal an A-10 Warthog. Modern close air support platforms are not standalone weapons. They are entirely reliant on centralized command infrastructure, proprietary contractor support, and automated digital supply chains. You think a rogue faction just gets to 'keep' the A-10s because of personal voting demographics. Even if an airframe was magically diverted, an A-10 requires dozens of maintenance man-hours for every single hour of flight time. Without access to centralized Air Force supply depots, classified avionics keys, specialized aviation fuel refineries, and Lockheed Martin/Pratt & Whitney contractor networks, your stolen A-10 becomes a 12-ton paperweight in under 48 hours. You are confusing civilian polling statistics with operational control. The military is a strictly centralized, oath-bound command structure, not a decentralized militia where pilots get to vote on who receives close air support. Even if an entire squadron went rogue, centralized strategic command would simply revoke their IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) codes, at which point integrated air defense systems would instantly categorize them as hostile targets.

Dude once stole a tomahawk missile in his convertible by just driving onto base, loading it into the back seat, and driving away.
