Just for the record, Efton Chism has never been on a practice squad. CJ Gardner-Johnson has been on a practice squad.
Bills S CJ Gardner-Johnson said he wasn't going to give any bulletin board material to the Patriots.
Went on to say: โA (practice squad) guy made a helluva catch. Probably wonโt happen to him again, respectfully. I say that with a lot of confidence because itโs like he didnโt put his confidence in his best player. โฆ But they won the game, whatever. They ainโt do shit better than us. We gotta play better. And they can mark that. Weโll be back, see them again at the end of the year. So, they better have that same energy. They put up, what? 20-something points? They barely scored. They struggled all game.โ

Before this season, Wilyer Abreu had never played more than 132 games in a full season. He began this season playing 7 high-intensity WBC games in March, then played 157 regular season games in which he patrolled the most difficult right field in all of baseball

After August 21: .197/.274/.336, 2 HR
Not a surprise that the Red Sox went from 13th in runs and 12th in wRC+ through Aug 21 to 30th in runs and 28th in wRC+ after

There are a ton of question that need to be answered in the offensive autopsy.
Is Caleb Durbin good enough to be a starter on a World Series caliber roster?
Does Wilyer and Ceddannes inability to hit premium pitching offset their defensive value?
Where are the spots to add middle of the order bats to this lineup?

Is this what the Red Sox want?
Just to be good enough to make the playoffs each year and lose in the first round?
They want to be Mike Tomlinโs Pittsburgh Steelers?
