You don’t just wake up one day in your monotonous press conferences and say the “entire people of Luo Nyanza will vote for me” I am wondering if he is talking about Luos from Uganda or the same Luo Nyanza that I come from.
Before Sifuna could confidently claim the Kenyan vote, he had to traverse every corner of the country, mobilize leaders, build a genuine people’s movement, and consistently speak to the issues affecting ordinary Kenyans. Only then could he gauge their sentiments and understand how they truly felt about him.
His remarkable work even made Kenyans to push him to vie for Presidency and not waking up with microphones to declare himself.
We must make Kalonzo confront the reality that Kenya’s political landscape has fundamentally changed.
