I've decided to extend my final series slightly and bring you a few extra delights of #RadioGreats before I close the book completely.
I have some good guests coming your way, including a big American name to close the series up.
In the meantime a new episode lands tomorrow!π§

On what would have been his 80 Birthday, today we remember one of The Greats of the Wireless and someone who was a real maverick. He had radio running through his vein and started a glorious revolution!

Today this Radio Legend would have been 105!
He made several hits before playing them on the radio. His shows were a mix of serious news and light entertainment. He could hold politicians to account, and still play a great record.
Happy Heavenly Birthday Jimmy Young.ππ»

He is the daddy of us all. A Giant of the Airwaves, someone who made radio sound so effortless and magnificent. It was such an honour to meet him back in 2019.
A Very Happy Birthday to the legend that is Pete Murray!ππ
