Did you know that Gaza’s only pediatric cancer department has been rebuilt three times, but since 2025, it has been completely out of service?
Today, PCRF is building a new 16–20-bed shared oncology unit at the specialized pediatric hospital.
It’s just a start, not a replacement for what was lost.
From inside Gaza, Eng. Samer has witnessed the destruction and rebuilding firsthand. Yet he continues to believe that every child helped, every medicine provided, and every department rebuilt can bring renewed hope to children and their families.💙

Children in Gaza deserve healing journeys that go beyond medicine and treatment sessions. They need care filled with love, compassion, and attention to the little details that can make a difference.
At Al Ahli Al Arabi Hospital (Al Ma'amadani) in Gaza City, PCRF transformed the damaged grounds of Al Basma Center into a therapeutic garden, creating a more welcoming space for thousands of children receiving care at the hospital.

Razan remembers the pediatric cancer department, where she received her treatment, as a place filled with care, friends, and even playtime. 💙
Today, that department, the only one in Gaza, is out of service. The streets Razan remembers have changed, her home is gone, while her medicine only became available again in July after a long disruption.
Now, PCRF is working to rehabilitate a new oncology department inside the hospital, helping provide a dedicated space for the cancer care that can be offered.
