The fields are so pretty right now. Hard to stay inside when life is so beautiful outside.

That’s a broad-winged hawk. They are hella good at the whole flying thing. This time of year, they gather up before winging their way to South America for winter.
I’ve only seen one close enough to get a picture one other time, so this was a treat.

I have no idea what these flowers are, but aren’t they just the prettiest little things?
It is like they have 1000 tiny little flowers in the center of one larger flower. I dunno man, that just seems really cool to me.

So lettuce is poisonous now and we can’t eat blueberries.

I was up at the buttcrack of dawn this morning when it was still dark out. It had been pouring all night. Took this picture with my phone. It isn’t even a shot of something. It just captured… I don’t know… the vibe? Regardless, I like it.
