This is probably the most important conversation happening around Stonks right now
And from the solana:2bDQvnvwd7rNbm4o3JNdN6z9c7MVzp4yqHJPNXPiSTNK side, we see it slightly differently: the 3% tax is not the problem.
It’s the reason this model is interesting in the first place. It turns trading activity into WBTC rewards for holders.
That part already works.
The next step is simply making the market structure grow with the token. Imagine the full loop:
more volume
→ more WBTC rewards
→ stronger holders
→ deeper liquidity
→ larger capital can enter
→ even more volume
That’s when this stops being just a reward mechanic and starts becoming a self-reinforcing market structure. The first part of the experiment has already been proven:
people are willing to trade taxed tokens when the reward is worth it. Now the question is whether the ecosystem can make successful coins progressively deeper as they scale. If that happens, the 3% tax doesn’t become the ceiling.
It becomes the engine.
That’s the part we’re paying attention to.

The real issue with Stonks is the liquidity.
This needs to be fixed or whales will not enter, mcaps will have low ceilings
There is a fix. I’m still bullish but as a stonkholder I want this addressed. 🧵
