The FRIENDRAM debate creates two possibilities: either DELTARUNE accidentally used FRIEND in such a way that it birthed a viable theory which gives a completely incorrect impression of a major character, or Pink's dialogue is a complete misdirect of FRIEND's character.

It is obvious what impression Pink's dialogue conveys because we can see it. To accept FRIENDRAM is to accept an absurd level of misdirection and intentional self-contradiction for the sake of cultivating widespread shock in theory circles.
