🚨 NeoFS pricing proposal just dropped. Neo SPCC is proposing a 50× increase in NeoFS storage pricing and a 5× increase in container creation fees. At $1.50 gas:native : → Storage: ~$0.000324 → ~$0.0162/GB/month → Container creation: ~$0.01 → ~$0.05 → Named container alias: 0.63 GAS (~$0.90) Why the change? Neo SPCC says the current parameters are no longer sustainable for storage node operators due to changes in GAS prices and hardware costs. There's also a new per-object minimum charge equivalent to 16KB, designed to prevent abuse from storing huge numbers of tiny objects with disproportionate metadata overhead. The proposal is now open for community feedback until October 28. If no alternative proposals emerge, the new parameters are expected to be implemented on Oct. 28. You don't need to know anything about blockchain. You can just open it and start playing. Then, as you explore, Neo gradually gets introduced through things like Operators, GAS rewards, and Neo X wallet integration. As someone building Raijin Protocol, this is particularly exciting to see. It shows that blockchain games don't necessarily have to start with “connect wallet” and a bunch of Web3 friction. The game can come first, and the blockchain can add utility underneath it. My Neo memory isn’t just one moment. It’s the journey. 🦋 I was only 20 years old when I joined the NeoX Hackathon. I kept showing up, creating content, contributing to the community, and helping wherever I could. That consistency led to me becoming a NeoPod Ambassador, and later, a Neo Community Manager. Earning that role was one of my biggest Web3 milestones. It showed me that consistently contributing can create real opportunities.
