He undoubtedly thinks it's fine that Russia is using thousands of drones and dozens of ballistic missiles against civilian targets. He wants Russia to win. Trump was responding to a question about a trilateral meeting between the USA, Russia and China. Marco Rubio has just spoken positively about such a meeting. If it does take place, it would mark the creation of an international fascist axis which would work to crush democracy, freedom and human rights across the world. Trump, Vance and Musk both want Europe divided into a mess of fascist puppet states. So there is every reason to believe that if Russia attacked a European NATO country, Trump would not merely refuse American military assistance, but that he would act to help Russia.
