#forgottensoulshour 4yo LILLY was found abandoned on the edge of a valley in a neighbouring City. She was covered in fleas & had to be washed daily until she was free of them. Now she looks beautiful, possibly having some Flat Coat Retriever or Spaniel in her mix. Lilly gets on well with both male & female dogs but no cats for Lilly thank you. Although playful & friendly, she can be a little shy when meeting people out on the street, but in her own environment she is fine with everyone & loves loves loves to cuddle. 😍 Lilly is in Romania & can travel asap. abldr.org.uk/dogs/lilly/ #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

#forgottensoulshour Born in December 2023, mixed breed PHIL was found abandoned with his mother & 5 siblings near the Shelter. His mum is medium-sized, & Rescue expect Phil to be about the same size when fully grown. He is a handsome boy who enjoys cuddling, is good with people & other dogs, & has made friends with the Shelter cat. abldr.org.uk/dogs/phil/ Phil is in Romania & can travel asap. #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

#forgottensoulshour Born in 2016, ROCKY is a partially sighted, German Shepherd beauty who is in foster in #Coventry. Having worked for most of his life as a security dog for a business in Spain, Rocky has been carefully trained & is sociable, friendly & calm when meeting people. He accepts his treats very politely, travels beautifully in the car, & is quiet & restrained in the house, (except when he plays & then he is very vocal!). ☺️ Rocky loves to be involved in everything that is going on & would happily do activities such as scent training & obedience. His love of food makes training even easier! He loves to be around his humans, but can become anxious & bark when he is not around them, or when they are close by but not in reach. Although retired, Rocky is healthy, active, playful & very mobile, not showing any signs of slowing down. He was retired because he has Pannus (inflammation of the cornea). This is easily managed with eye drops & ointment (approximately £56 per month), & does not stop this wonderful gent living a full life. #forgottensoulshour ZORICA was born in February 2024, & is one of four puppies found abandoned on the street. Two of the puppies had fallen down a deep hole & were unable to climb out. Mum & the other two puppies were standing by the hole waiting. Fortunately rescuers were able to save them all & they are ready to find wonderful homes. Mum is medium sized & ABLDR expects the puppies to be similar. abldr.org.uk/dogs/zorica/ #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

#forgottensoulshour OZON is a medium size, 1yo lad with a gorgeous fluffy wheat-coloured coat & a happy, loving personality. He was abandoned near the shelter with his sister, but that hasn’t stopped him from being full of joy & trust. Ozon is still very young & has lots of energy & love to share. He’d thrive in a home where he can play, explore, & be part of a wonderfully loving family. abldr.org.uk/dogs/Ozon/ Ozon is in Romania & can travel asap. #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

#forgottensoulshour Why is this beautiful girl still on the shelf? 😭 Born in December 2022, RAFAELA is a medium/large lady who was taken to ABLDR Shelter by her owner because she loved his hens a little too much & chased them, which they didn’t appreciate. She is a beautiful, lively, friendly girl who just wants to play with everyone, people, other dogs (& hens too). For this reason her rescue think probably no cats. ABLDR would love to find a loving new home & family for this gorgeous girl. Rafaela is in Romania & can travel asap. abldr.org.uk/dogs/rafaela/ #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

#forgottensoulshour 1yo Lurcher SPLASH is a lover of attention & can’t wait to meet new people, especially if they have yummy treats. Legs like springs & a busy mind, Splash is a doer, not always a thinker! ☺️ Like any young Sighthound, this gorgeous boy is into everything & still finding his feet, he loves running around in secure areas, walks really well on lead, & is being muzzle trained. Splash lacks in confidence & will bark when feeling overwhelmed & around new dogs. He needs an owner who can continue his housetraining & be flexible with their leave time. leicesteranimalaid.org.uk/ad… #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

#forgottensoulshour 18mo Lurcher PIRELLI is a bit of a clumsy bum, a lover of teens & is happy to live with a compatible dog. He is nearly there with his house training & is comfortable being left for a couple of hours with the intention of increasing over time. Pirelli LOVES cuddles & food, & will be an amazing companion to a very lucky someone somewhere. 😍 leicesteranimalaid.org.uk/ad… #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

#forgottensoulshour 4yo BANDIT is a truly special boy who’s been patiently waiting for his forever home for over two years - & he hasn’t lost his calm, gentle spirit in that time. He first appeared outside one of ABLDR's rescuer’s homes, clearly in need of help. He was extremely thin & hungry, so she fed him & made sure he was safe. It was clear he needed care as he was so tired he even tried to lie down in the middle of the road when a car was coming - so for his safety she took him to the shelter. Despite everything he’s been through, Bandit is wonderfully calm, affectionate, & easygoing. He loves people, gets along well with other dogs, & has the sweetest little waggy tail that never stops showing his happiness.
He’s currently living in his rescuer’s home in Romania where he’s finally getting the comfort he deserves after spending far too long in the shelter. Bandit is also gentle with children & is great with the visiting grandchild, showing just how loving & trustworthy he is. Now all he needs is a forever family to give him the happy ending he’s been waiting for. 🙏 abldr.org.uk/dogs/bandit/ #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

#forgottensoulshour **DOG EXPERIENCED ADOPTER PLEASE** 3yo MARGRET is a sweet, friendly girl whose journey began on a building site, where she & her five siblings were discovered with their mother, tiny & vulnerable, with eyes still closed. Despite being overlooked at the shelter, Margret has grown into a delightful dog with striking eye markings that are sure to capture your attention. 🙏 She will need patience & guidance to adjust to home life, she has never lived in a home & requires a calm, understanding family. abldr.org.uk/dogs/margret/ #TeamZay #rescuedogsrock

🏡Please share Hattie during #rehomehour to help her find her forever home🏡
🔁No Applications For Hattie. Please Keep Sharing🔁
🐎Meet Hattie, a gorgeous 4 yearold, 12hh Gypsy Cob — a true little mini cob with a wonderfully kind nature🐎
🐴Sadly, we know very little about Hattie’s life before coming into the care of Greenacres
🐴Understandably, she can be a little nervous when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations but underneath that uncertainty is a sweet, gentle & very amenable pony
🐴Hattie is still young & has lots of potential
🏥Hattie is up to date with parasite treatment, dental care & farrier
🏡She needs someone who won’t rush her & will give her the time plus guidance she needs to flourish
🏡With time, patience & the right experienced home willing to continue her education & build her confidence, we believe she could develop into a lovely child’s ridden pony in the future
🏡If you have the experience, time & suitable home to offer Hattie everything she needs, we’d love to hear from you. Please complete the application form by following the link below👇

TWO of Exmoor's finest stags were chased to exhaustion and killed on Saturday by the Devon and Somerset Staghounds at Simonsbath. It's come to us that even some hunt followers are complaining that such magnificent animals were targeted. So much for "deer management".
