A man who I think has mental disabilities and uses a wheelchair started coming around the same time as me. I stay pretty locked into my workout. So at first, I didn't pay much attention to him. Until he started following me. I shrugged it off. I figured maybe he was using equipment in the same area. I would use a machine. Or stretch. And he'd just stare at me from behind. I really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. I assumed he was waiting for a machine. But every time I moved... He followed me to the next one. Eventually, he started talking to me. I tried to be polite.

My landlord knocked on my door at 7:14am. Not because I was late on rent. Because I had paid it too early. He looked at me and said: “Why did you send me $2,000 yesterday?” I said, “Rent. You said it was due Friday.” He stared at me. Then he said: “Your rent is $1,650.” I checked my banking app. He was right. I had accidentally sent him $350 too much. I laughed. “Sorry. My mistake. Just send the $350 back.” He didn't. Instead, he said: “I'll deduct it from next month's rent.” I thought he was joking. He wasn't. And that's when the argument started.
