Switch 2 is honestly the best value in gaming currently and it’s not even close.

Console's great but the $80 games kinda kill the value argument for me

There’s only two of them so far and both are available cheaper even at launch.

Only two $80 games that nobody who preordered actually payed $80 for since most stores price matched the cheaper digital RRP.

Yeah it definitely still has its merit, just S2 is a better version.

Idk Tony, I'm currently downloading an MMO (not available on switch) on my steam deck OLED, was just playing TOTK on it 20 minutes ago and finished 3 pokemon games on it so far. And that's not counting the games I played on release that you had to wait months for (007, RE9, etc)

I like to pay for my games so I disregard piracy and only emulate games that aren’t readily available, also I own a PS5 so I could also play those at launch… if I was interested in them anyway. Not to mention Resi 9 released on S2 at launch anyway.

Definitely. All 3rd party companies should be all in on switch 2.

Hopefully more start to, with the way Sony and Microsoft are going I doubt I’ll be able to afford what’s next 🤣

Taking the price of the console and the games that are already there and will come (like OoT Remake) into account... yes, Switch 2 really is the best value in gaming right now.

and that will only get more true as the library expands. Unlike some Nintendo are good at getting exclusives out fast.

Nice! It’s so worth the price and has a decent library of exclusives taking shape now.

Yeah, PS5 was gonna be my next console purchase when I can afford it, but Switch keeps adding games I want and as I get older I prefer playing a handheld in bed instead of sitting in front of the tv with a controller... 🙃

That’s a nice bonus of the Switch that unfortunately is locked being an additional purchase on PS5. I love the Portal but it’s hard to recommend at its price.

Steam Deck was before the price increase.

Yup, even if they increase the price another $50 next year which is unfortunate but market conditions on memory and chips is not getting any better, it’s still gonna be the BEST DEAL
