Some closed doors arenβt proof that you werenβt good enough, sometimes theyβre simply a sign to take your effort somewhere it will be valued
I spent months trying to win an opportunity I really wanted.
We talked.
I followed up.
I served.
I prepared.
I genuinely thought it would happen.
Then I found out she had chosen someone else.
It hurt.
I went through every conversation again in my head.
What did I miss?
Was I not good enough?
Eventually, I stopped trying to force the door open.
I still believe in my work.
I just had to accept that this one was not mine.
And thatβs okay.
