If I was suffering from ai brain-fry, here’s how I’d solve it in 4 days: Day 1: Quit multitasking. Only one ai task at a time Day 2: Take many 15-30 min breaks during the work day Day 3: Start doing more tasks manually to rebuild skill Day 4: Breathwork whenever overwhelmed

Apparently I live the most boring life ever. That's what my closest friend's girlfriend told me yesterday. I don’t have social media, I don’t party, and she has no clue what I do all day. But I fired back by saying: "You scroll instagram reels all day. That sounds more boring." Her comeback? "Ermm actually, I have a business 💁‍♀️" (referring to her nail painting passion project earning $2 a month) Meanwhile, I literally spend all day working on an actual online business. She has no idea lol. She is right though. My life is boring. I'd just never swap it for hers.

Just finished listening to episode #885 of The @tferriss Show and and can't recommend it enough. You NEED to give it a listen if life feels chaotic and all over the place right now. Also, big fan of the new unique podcast style. 5 experts, each of their takes on 1 core idea.
“We value things more because we have them. … The idea is to trick your brain, putting it in the position where you don’t own the thing, where you don’t have the opportunity. You have to reflect on it fresh. You have to say, ‘Starting now, do I want this thing now? How hard would I go after this now if I didn’t own it, if I didn’t have it.’” — Greg McKeown (@GregoryMcKeown) Listen to a special compilation episode on how to simplify your life, featuring advice and wisdom from Chip Conley, Greg McKeown, David Allen, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Oliver Burkeman: tim.blog/2026/10/01/how-to-s…

Confession: I'm the guy who spammed your DMs. It was the summer of 2025 and I had zero clients. I was HUNGRY for sales. So, I: - installed an automation - wrote up some generic slop - sent it to 5,000 people The result: 1 sale. 100+ blocks. Getting blocked by tons of entrepreneurs still stings but I'm grateful for the lesson I learnt. Make mistakes. Mess up. Look at how not to mess up next time. Isn't that the game of business at the end of the day?

You buy a pack of video games. I buy a pack of 4 fat biographies by Walter Isaacson. We are not the same.

Stop lying to yourself by saying you need a better plan, better timing or better ideas before doing that thing you’ve been avoiding for months. Outreach, marketing, whatever it is. All you really need is better execution. And the magical solution to achieving that? Just doing the damn thing. Even if that means baby steps at first.

No one gives a crap about entrepreneurs. We are 50% more likely to have mental health issues than everyone else. Unlike other jobs where you get strict breaks, reasonable work hours and co-workers who look after you, founders are just dropped in the ocean with no lifeboat and told to figure it out themselves. Why does no one ever questions the burnout and stress that comes with business?? I think it’s time we change this. If you're a founder, I hope you're doing well. It's not an easy path you're on, which is why taking care of your health and wellbeing is ever so important.

Say no to the meeting that could be an email. Say no to the client who pays little and demands a lot. Say no to the "quick call" that eats up your hours. Say no to the task you could have delegated. Say no to the notification that can wait. Every no is a yes to your business.

Paul is right. 50% of your work habits exist only because humans are slow. Meetings, status updates, “quick calls.” Aside from all the AI doomer slop, it's good to see that AI is actually helping us cut what doesn't matter.
There were a lot of things that only worked because there's a limit to the rate at which humans can operate. We're about to find out what all of them are, as they break.

A breakdown of my two favorite bald men will save you years of following the wrong advice: David Goggins: ”F*ck your feelings!!! Work harder!!!” Tim Ferriss: ”just work 4 hours a week lol” Both are opposite ends of the spectrum. Because if you're at zero listening to Tim, you'll starve. But if you keep listening to Goggins, you'll eventually burn out (and probably become chronically depressed). This is known as contextual mismatch: Advice might be correct for your past, but harmful for your current reality, So figure out where you are right now in life, get clear on your goals, and then decide the philosophy you need to live by.

2 weeks ago, my body told me to stop. it started in my throat. it felt like a lump was stuck in it. it's called globus pharyngeus. i’m not andrew huberman so here’s the non-nerdy explanation: you get so stressed so that the muscles in your throat contract involuntarily. i had taken on a huge business project. i told myself i'd push through for a few weeks. but my body decided to send me a warning right away. so i stopped grinding. i cut my hours, dialed in my sleep, and did my breathwork every day. but what hit me hardest? i literally coach stress management. i teach this stuff. and i still ignored it until my body made me stop. none of us are perfect, but it’s all about learning from the mistakes as feedback.
