Tech N9ne told Acton Entertainment he has a new idea for a record with Eminem built around a vintage Portishead sample: “It don’t have to go super political or no sh*t like that, but it has to be about something, not just rippity rap, hippity hop fast rapping”. His earlier concept used Billy Joel’s “Pressure” to address the pressure of staying at the top of hip-hop, but it never came together.
