@aryasukku’s imagination has always been fascinating. The way he conceives his characters, the worlds he creates, the emotions he draws out of his actors, and the sheer audacity of his storytelling make the possibilities of RC17 incredibly exciting.
And @AlwaysRamCharan today has the screen presence, maturity and ambition to surrender himself to a filmmaker’s wildest imagination.
Just the thought of what these two could achieve together at this point in their careers gives me goosebumps.
The scale of the expectations surrounding #RC17 is enormous, and I sincerely hope Sukumar goes all out. Let his imagination run wild. Let Charan surprise us with a character we could never have anticipated.
Let them make a film that people will discuss, dissect and celebrate for years.

#Cult A Promising Survival Thriller Idea Ruined by Poor Writing and Execution.
The film struggles right from the beginning with uninteresting characters, comedy that barely works, and games that fail to create any real tension. For a survival thriller, the biggest problem is that we hardly care who lives or dies. The constant meme references, inconsistent character behaviour and unnecessary filler only make the two-and-a-half-hour runtime feel longer.
A couple of ideas in the second half, especially the mental hospital portion and plug-and-play fight, are interesting, but the execution is weak. Vishwak Sen is decent as an actor, while the cartoonish gore, poor VFX and excessively loud Ravi Basrur score make things worse.
The film takes inspiration from Squid Game but misses the very things that made it work. With neither interesting games nor characters worth rooting for, #Cult ends up being a painfully dull and frustrating watch.
A complete misfire…!!!

#AadarshaKutumbam #AK47 is an okayish film. There are some genuinely funny sequences and ideas that work quite well, but as a whole, it feels a little rushed and undercooked. The comedy has its moments, though the execution could have been a lot better.
What I find more interesting is this phase of Trivikram. We saw glimpses of it in Guntur Kaaram, where he started playing around with some oddball characters and unusual humour. With #AK47, he takes it a step further, attempting a much wackier kind of comedy within his familiar commercial setup.
And I think he’s still figuring out this style. There’s a certain chaos to this kind of comedy, but making that chaos entertaining requires a lot of control and clarity. At times, you can see what he’s going for, even if the scenes don’t quite come together the way they should.
I find it fascinating that a filmmaker this established is still willing to experiment with his comic sensibilities. I’m not entirely convinced by the results yet, but I’m definitely interested in where he’s heading.

For the longest time, Indian cinema barely had a conversation around it in the West. Then came #RRR, and suddenly we had people across the world celebrating our cinema, our storytelling and our filmmakers. What a moment that was❤️🔥
And now, looking at the scale and ambition of #Ramayana, I genuinely want this film to succeed. An Indian filmmaker taking one of our greatest stories to the world, with this kind of vision and effort behind it, is something worth rooting for.
Really hope the film lives up to its ambition, wins hearts across the world and opens more doors for Indian cinema.
Wishing Nitesh Tiwari, Namit Malhotra and the entire team nothing but the best. ♥️

#Clayface is one of the most disturbing and satisfying horror films I’ve watched recently. A terrific villain origin story and an exciting creative choice for the new DCU.
The body horror is genuinely uncomfortable, especially the plane sequence, bedroom scene and the brilliantly conceived climax fight. The psychological horror works just as well, with Matt Hagen becoming increasingly unsettling as the story progresses.
The screenplay feels a little uneven, with some of the drama losing out to action and plot developments. But James Watkins handles the horror remarkably well, supported by striking cinematography and a good score.
Credit to James Gunn for backing a relatively lesser-known Batman villain with such an unconventional film. Really enjoyed this one👍🏻
