This is some of the realest shit I will say to you guys who are struggling. I no joke struggled with this for 6 years. I couldn’t get it right no matter what I always thought the answer or solution was out there for me. Meanwhile the real struggle and answer was always internal. It’s you. You are your own worst enemy in this game. Half of you probably have a profitable model out there with positive expectancy. You just can’t see it through because you continue to hurt yourself with the bad decisions you make when emotional. I am one of the most emotional people out there. I wear my heart of my sleeve. I struggled with this aspect of trading for a long time because emotions for me were one of the most difficult things to overcome. There is no strategy, mentor, indicator or anything that will overcome a poor mentality or irrational decision making. It takes one bad day to erase months of progress. I love you guys. You are the answer you are looking and searching for. Master yourself and the rest will follow. That’s honest to god how I made my first 6 figures. I learned control, I learned patience, I learned discipline. Money was a byproduct of that. Love you guys keep fucking going! 💯❤️

Most traders don’t blow accounts because of bad entries. They blow them because risk expands silently after emotional damage. Drawdown changes behavior. Behavior changes position sizing. Position sizing kills systems.

Most damage doesn’t come from the first mistake. It comes from the second decision you shouldn’t have been allowed to make.

Discipline is often framed as a mindset problem. That's convenient. And wrong. Under drawdown, discipline collapses. Systems don't. Where do you rely on willpower instead of structure?

Most traders don't fail because of bad ideas. They fail because they give themselves too much freedom under stress. If your trading system doesn't stop you from trading, It's not a system. It's a suggestion. Curious how others handle this.
