good lord, a plane full of people yapping on facetime would be the end of aviation, please make this a federal crime
So. Im on a United flight. It has Starlink. I told my wife it had Starlink. She facetimed me so I could say goodnight to my son (he’s a toddler). It worked perfectly. Like crystal clear. Cabin crew IMMEDIATELY told me I couldnt be on the phone during the flight and asked me to hang up.
I said “It’s via Starlink?” - they said no sorry. I hung up, without question.
