After a year of development, Pangea is finally on the App Store. With Pangea, we're hoping to manage the change and complexity of EV charging, and keep it simple for you. We're still at the beginning of our journey, but we hope to make charging undeniably simple for everyone.

Since everyone's announcing their AI assistants, I wanted to share the project I've been working on for a while. Meet Cadence! Cadence takes a bit of a different tack from most other agentic assistants, namely: 🪄 It's Cloud-based, yet natively connected to your Apple apps — Messages, Calendar, Mail, Reminders, Notes. Cloud intelligence, your private data stays yours. ⚡ It reacts to life as it happens, not on a timer. Cadence has a specially designed event system that reacts to things in your life as they happen. 🔒 Nothing happens without you. Cadence proposes plans, and needs approval before it can execute them. It's not just prompted to not do things without asking, it's completely prevented from doing things until you approve. An assistant that acts first and asks forgiveness isn't a feature, it's a liability. Cadence asks first. Every time. Immense beauty

The other half of this is - now having a product and users and partners - the hit rate for interest from people is much higher than when we raised money on a dream and a hideous deck. Now we have the dream, an encouraging reality, and a not-hideous deck.

With all the growing responsibilities of running a startup, I find myself frequently, and sadly, neglecting Pocket Rocket. This is bittersweet, but I want it to find a new home, and a worthy owner for it. Pocket Rocket is loved all around the world, but I haven't been able to support it properly for years now. It has so much potential that I'm squandering. It's been at the top of the App Store, it's been showered with praise from Apple, it's a favorite of many teams at SpaceX. If you feel up to the task of shepherding this lovely product into the future, reach out. I want to find a worthy owner.

Fundraising is super fun man. You spend years of your life making something so a stranger can tell you it's not gonna work after 30 seconds. And that's the nature of it. It's a very frustrating test of resilience.

If any of you are using the Shape Language TestFlight, I added a really useful new feature this weekend: Roleplay. Describe a scenario you want to practice in a new language, and talk to a computer, and get notes on your grammar and vocab. It's been remarkably useful to me. Here I am, in real-time, talking about going to a Dodger's game.
