After a day and half of meetings with people, @PeterObi and @KwankwasoRM They went straight to the IDP camp. The visit showed clear signal that security comes first. His Excellency @PeterObi used the opportunity to demonstrate his readiness to prioritise the safety of every Nigerian. He didn’t just listen he made a firm promise: work to return all IDPs in Sokoto to their homes and create real economic opportunities so people can stand on their own and the country can remain safe and secure. This is what leadership looks like when it is serious. Not empty talk. Not flying in for headlines. Actual presence among the displaced, and a clear plan to restore dignity, safety, and livelihood. Sokoto saw it. The IDPs felt it. Nigeria should take note.

Choose a president that will be visible, available, and accountable to you. Choose a president that considers you worthy of his audience. That's how to be treated like human beings, respectably. It's a pity that one has to say these very basic and obvious things. But when a people are enslaved in their minds, it's hard for them to imagine normalcy and decency.

Special NDC Series: PLATEAU STATE The NDC in Plateau State is not yet as "strong" as expected, but with the recent efforts towards restructuring and the substitution of its governorship candidate with Mr. Alfred Dappal, the party is expected to pick up momentum. The party has candidates across various constituencies. The state party secretariat is active. The Chairman met with various support groups today. More support and mobilization are needed.
