#Großbritannien #Doppelmoral #Burka welt.de/vermischtes/article6… via @welt

Something doesn’t add up. The oil price today is £96 a barrel as petrol approaches £2 per litre. In June 2008, it hit £109 a barrel yet petrol was £1.19 per litre. Can someone please explain the difference?

Call me old-fashioned, but if a cashier, waitress, mechanic, or anybody else helps me, I look them in the eye and say thank you. Not at my phone. Not while walking away. It takes two seconds to treat someone like a person.

This should be on the national news. Why isn't it? There was a time a missing 13 yr old girl's face would be everywhere!! These are the details issued by police, I've linked it at the end of the post too: "Lillia left her home address in Bolton at approximately 20:00 hours on Friday 11th September 2026 and after failing to return home was reported missing by her family. Lillia has been identified on CCTV in the Piccadilly Gardens area of Manchester City Centre and the Trafford Centre on Saturday 12th September 2026. Lillia is a white 13-year-old female with long light brown hair worn in a low ponytail. She wears clear frame glasses. She was last seen wearing dark wide leg trousers, black hooded zip front jacket and carrying a black Nike rucksack". Please share. It takes two seconds to repost and try to get Lillia's face seen. It feels like every day, every hour, we're seeing stories like this about our kids and as a mum it's heartbreaking. What has this country become? If you've seen her or have any information, contact Greater Manchester Police: • 101 • Investigation team: 0161 856 3635 • Major Incident Portal: mipp.police.uk/operation/06G… • Or anonymously via Crimestoppers: 0800 555 111 Please help get Lillia home safely. 🙏

Three out of four of the nations in a ‘voluntary union’ want to ask their citizens if they want to leave. And are being told by the fourth they can’t. No matter your opinion on independence you surely have to recognise the absurdity of this.

My last relationship taught me that the more chances you give someone, the less they value you. They're not afraid to lose you because they know no matter what, you won't walk away. Never let someone get too comfortable with disrespecting you. Love yourself first.

The baby is only part of the birth. There's another birth that almost nobody talks about. The PLACENTA. For 9 months, your body grows an entirely new organ, an organ with one job keeping your baby alive. It delivers oxygen, nutrients, hormones, filters waste and connects two completely different circulatory systems without ever mixing your blood. Then, minutes after your baby is born that organ detaches from the wall of your uterus, and when it does, it leaves behind a wound roughly the size of a dinner plate. About 10 cm across, that is why you bleed after birth, because your body is healing a wound. At the same time, your uterus, which stretched enough to hold an entire baby, is working around the clock to shrink back down to its pre pregnancy size. Those after pains you're feeling those contractions, they are your uterus, squeezing itself smaller while compressing hundreds of open blood vessels to stop the bleeding. Now imagine this. If you had a wound that size anywhere else, on your body, on your arm, on your leg, your back, would anyone expect you to be back at work in a week? Would anyone expect you you to entertain visitors? Cook meals, carry a baby day and night smile for photos and get your body back, of course not. You'd probably be in the hospital on a drip. People would tell you to rest up. They'd expect weeks of recovery, yet when that exact wound is hidden inside your body, the world acts as though you should be back to normal almost immediately. 6 weeks later, you go for your postpartum, check up. Many women think it's a milestone that says, wow, you've recovered. It isn't. It's simply checking whether the bleeding has stopped, whether the placental wound has healed and whether your uterus is recovering as expected. It is not a certificate that says your body, brain, hormones, identity or even nervous system have all returned to normal. So if you've ever been wondering, why haven't I bounced back yet? Here's the better question why were you ever expected to bounce back from something this enormous in the first place? Your body is recovering from one of the most extraordinary healing processes a human being can experience. Give yourself some time and space to recover.
